David's Bunk i7 920 - 2010/03/05 Friday

Yay, my toys came in.

The box. A little beat up, but looks good.

Uh...This box doesn't look new.

The underside of some molded wannabe HSF.
The top side of the HSF with an authentic-looking Intel sticker and a sticker of an actual HSF.

Hell of a new HSF design from intel...I wonder how clay mixes with computer parts. Thankfully I have an aftermarket HSF that I planned on using.

The actual manual is stapled pages, but has printing on it! Maybe this is a demo unit.

I'll never have to refer to the instruction manual--I already memorized it (its completely blank).

The top of the CPU looks beat up, but fairly real. I think the PCB is a sticker, though.

Lets just plug this in...

The underside looks like steel. It's slightly concave and you can see the circle where the glue was holding it to its plastic case.

Hmm... There certainly aren't 1366 pins on this thing. It looks like its been sanded down.

Thanks for the fake parts, Newegg.
